Wicker hedge: how to set up
A growing wicker fence (meaning purple willow) can be set up in spring. In the place where the hedge should grow, you have to dig the soil and fertilize it, adding, for example, compost (one part of the garden soil one part of compost). Adjacent plants should be leaned towards each other at the moment of planting the hedge, so that later they are easier to interlace.
Horizontal wicker fence – the most common type, can be made from any of the materials described above. In this case, the fence is filled by the passage of vines, sticks, boards, branches between pre-installed vertical dowels.
Vertical wicker fence – The original solution for the decoration of the site. In addition, such a fence can eventually become a hedge, since the vine has the property of taking root with the correct humidification of the soil.
